Aesthetic Restorations
When teeth have been weakened by damage or decay, the health of the tooth structure can be recovered with conservative treatments. Dr. Cauble and Dr. Huff offer tooth-colored fillings as an improvement from traditional metal amalgam fillings for natural-looking teeth. This eliminates traditional protocols that place metal and mercury in your mouth, instead filling cavities with a composite material that blends into the shade of your teeth and smile.
Additionally, porcelain onlays and partial crowns can protect and strengthen teeth while blending in with your smile. In situations where tooth decay cannot be treated with a filling, but the damage is not significant enough to warrant a dental crown, porcelain onlays and partial crowns can be used to restore the strength of a tooth. Porcelain inlays and onlays and partial crowns can preserve more of the natural tooth structure when compared to dental crowns and are considered a more conservative treatment, keeping consistent with our philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry.
